Aamir Khan Satyamev Jayate Show

Aamir Khan gives us the glimpses of real India in the theme song of his much-awaited television show ‘Satyamev Jayate’. The theme song, well penned (Prasoon Joshi) and composed (Ram Sampath), rouses the patriotism that one never knew kindled in one’s heart. If this song doesn’t make you sit up and take note, I don’t know what will.

Truth Always Triumphs. And the truth of India that more often than not stays hidden behind the chimera of an India Shining, the truth of a common man’s hardships, their joys, their hopes, their struggles, is brought to the fore by the most socially conscious actor in the film industry today, the one and only Aamir Khan.

In his new show ‘Satyamev Jayate’, Aamir hits the road and travels the length and breadth of the country, from Kashmir to Kerala, from Rajasthan to North East, and mingles with the people, lives briefly their lives, partakes in their hardships and happiness, all to give us a glimpse of the real India lost beneath the glamour of city high-rises. Doing so, he touches their lives, and is touched by them in return. And we, the audience, can’t remain a passive watcher.
